Keeping Hispanics Working For A Career and Commitment?
Now, I ask you this: How committed to having a career you are as a Latino? How exactly do you know how committed you are? I think that you should know by the way you prioritize your activities and the actions you take.
Taking a closer look at these questions by a way of analogy; for instance, if your career is stagnated and you’re not working to get it out of it, then your motivation and commitment is not strong. What about when you’re going to college or some school for some kind of training and your having trouble keeping up with the work, but some how you find time to go out with your friends or even worse to keep up with your favorite telenovelas and TV shows. What does that tell you about your priorities and level of commitment?… Think about it for a little bit…
Now that you thought a about it, you can see that the level of commitment that you put into it, plays an important role in the road to a fulfilling career and success. Find time for the development of you career and commit to it, if it is what you want to do. Start by setting simple goals, and cutting the unproductive activities that are wasting you time. If you want a career commit to it with determination. I have to tell this to myself every time I get up in the morning to maintain a mental and emotional focus to commit. This is my 2 cent to keep Latinos working for a career and commitment.
