5 Tips for Latinos to be More Financially Responsible

5 Tips for Latinos to be More Financially Responsible

Before anything else I think that we all know that money management is always a serious issue for most people. “El dinero te da” power, freedom, and choices in life. Bottom line, I think that you owe it to yourself to learn to be more financially responsible.

I have outline below five easy steps to improve your finances, after all you all work very hard to earn money. So should know that it is harder to keep money than it is to earn money, so apply these steps to get your finances.

1. Save, Save Again, Then Save More. I can even begin to tell you how important it is to save a little bit every time you get paid. All financial advisors always tell people that you have to pay yourself first. Bottom line, you have to make the saving automatic in your bank, get it deducted. “Si piensas bien” in the fact that there’s no sense in working and then have every single dollar disappear out of you account by the end of the two weeks, so you have to way till you get paid again.

2. Live Within Your Means. This one is a big one for all of us. Bottom line “No importa” how much money you make if you spend it all, or even worse if you spend more than you make. I know that it is cool to have the latest fashion clothing and to go out and eat at fancy restaurant all the time, but come on, that only makes you dream or feel like your rich, but guess what you’re not. Not yet anyways… you feel me. Now, this does not mean that you have to live a lifestyle that makes you feel very miserable Living within your means does mean that you shouldn’t drive a SUV if you don’t have any kids, or you shouldn’t buy a BMW just because you can afford the payments. If you rent, don’t move to a high-end place when your not even there most of the day.

3. Get Organized. This is important too because you can’t track all of your expenditures and all you income if you have no idea where everything is going or coming from. Go to office depot and buy a filling system if you rather the paper filings, or go here and use the spread sheet to track everything on your computer.

4. Set a goal or goals. Think of something that you want to do with some money. Maybe start investing, save to star a business, save your kids education, go to Europe or whatever you goal is. Because, what good of use money is going to be if you don’t have any goals?

5. Follow the Plan. If you can do the above-identified tips, then the one thing left to do is sticking to your plan. It is important to stick to these tips, whether you get a better job or you unfortunately end up with a worse job. Bottom line, the more money you save the best opportunities for you to achieve financial freedom

Now be optimistic and make it a must do to save money. Some people think that you have to make a lot of money and then go talk to some financial advisor and paying him a lot of money to manage your finances. You can do it yourself with little money or a lot of money. Just do it!
